Fabric and Steel is about place and texture. The F&S textile collection reflects a conversation between the places and textures that make up our lives.  

The Brooklyn based interiors textile company, Fabric and Steel, was founded by Michele Dopp after working for over a decade in the interior design industry.  

Michele holds a degree in art history from New York University. Her experience, education and passion for architecture and design informs the philosophy behind the subtle, handcrafted prints, which make up the F&S curated collection.  

F&S fabrics reflect the relationship between the ephemeral interior and the more permanent exterior of designed spaces. The combination of beautiful, rough, architectural materials and the art of refined, intimate design is the foundation of the line.
